My debut novel.
With a release date likely to be towards the end of 2026, here is a teaser of what you have to look forward to.
Aimee and Dan are work enemies, each convinced that the other is at the heart of their workplace problems. Then, on a day when Aimee really needs everything to go right … the lift breaks down and leaves them trapped, together, between floors.
Forced to confront their issues head on, Aimee starts to realise that maybe Dan isn’t the enemy she believed him to be and the attraction they have both denied begins to spark.
The last thing Aimee had on her radar was another workplace romance – she’s still divorcing the last one of those she tried, and she desperately needs to find the energy to put herself first, for once.
Dan is devoted to work, but when he finally sees what he could have if he lifts his gaze … he plots a course towards a happiness that is just out of reach.
The universe has other ideas, and a sense of humour.
Can these enemies truly become lovers? When he falls first, can he persuade her to believe in the possibility he offers? And can the wild and wonderful family and friends around them help them reach for the happy ending they deserve?
Of course there is actual human designed artwork coming soon. But this photo of the notebook where the book began, with the Post-its that also appear in the story, feels like an ok place to begin.
